HOW MANY CAMERAS DO I NEED?

The images below are to give an indication of the number of cameras required. We know all properties are different and porches, extensions, conservatories and garages can affect the number and position of cameras. Remember you do not need to cover every part of your property. As long as the perimeter is fully covered, any intruder will be detected, recorded and deterred before reaching a blind spot. You can always add extra cameras later if required.

If you live in a terraced house, we recommend a minimum of two cameras for optimal coverage.

If you live in a Semi Detached house, we recommend a minimum of three cameras for optimal coverage.

If you live in a detached house, we recommend a minimum of four cameras for optimal coverage.

The images below show how the notification zones can be set up. Although the cameras are constantly recording and view into the distance you only receive notifications and the deterrent is only activated when a human enters the red zones.

If you live in a terraced house, we recommend a minimum of two cameras for optimal coverage.

If you live in a Semi Detached house, we recommend a minimum of three cameras for optimal coverage.

If you live in a detached house, we recommend a minimum of four cameras for optimal coverage.
The image below illustrates the differences in resolution between 2MP, 5MP (we now offer 6MP), 3K, and 8MP (4K) cameras.
While all of these options provide clear images and allow you to read a number plate at 15m, the 4K camera is ideal for distinguishing faces or reading number plates at the boundary of your property. We generally recommend the 2MP for distances up to 10m, the 3K for up to 15m, and the 8MP for up to 20m to ensure a clear image without needing to zoom.
Using the zoom feature may achieve even better image quality, our cameras are not facial recognition.
